Great value for a weekend trip! Lots of personal attention and good facilities. Got a hog at dark and surrounded by them just after dark without being able to see well enough to take another pig. Bob's generous with his time and a good teacher.

Just wanted to say that we had a great experience with the hog doggin this past weekend. I took one of my godsons and a friend for a hunt with Bob, Doreen and the rest of his crew. The boys have hunted hogs out of stands but we wanted to try something a little different and this really turned out to be a memorable occasion. I believe that Hunter's Creek Ranch is an ideal place for anyone as the hunts are well thought out. SAFETY is their number one goal and when it comes to your loved ones that is yours as well. Of course the hunt turned out to be everything we hoped it would be and the boys had a great time from beginning to end. Great job and look forward to going back!!

Went for a 2 day hog hunt and had a great time. Bob and Doreen are great hosts...and she is a excellent cook who made sure we were full at every meal! The cabins aren't fancy rooms but bunk houses which are very clean and comfortable...perfect for the "hunting camp" experience. All the staff there went out of their way to make sure we got the hunts we were looking for including a great time following the dogs through the woods on a spear hunt. That was a hunt we will never forget! Would I recommend them to others? Well, we booked our next hunt with them before we left so I'd say yes I would recommend them.

Traveling from Chicago, Dallas and Kansas City the 5 of us had a great time at Hunters Creek Ranch hog hunting. It was the end of the season and hot which isn't the greatest conditions but Bob, Shannon and Gavin were determined to get us some hogs. We ended up with 5 and saw several more in two days. We highly recommend this place and will come back again. The hospitality was great they treat you like one of the family! We hope Doreen feels better soon. Thanks, Ralph IV

Just got back from a four day Hunter Creek Ranch hog hunt. We had a party of 12 including two 13 year old man/boys. This hunt was a great experience. Everyone got their hogs, laughs and plenty of delicious food. My thanks to Bob, Doreen, Brandon, Chris, Shannon and Colt for taking care of us and putting up with us. Hope to be back. rp

My son and I just returned from hunters creek, although we went as experienced hunters looking for a full game bag at the end of the hunt(which Bob and Brandon and the crew where paramount in helping with our success)to our surprise we wound up with friends for life. Booked a return trip for next year also going for the doves...great place for family....p.s. the meals were awesome as well.

Just want to say how welcoming and homey it was right off the bat. It being my first actual hunting experience, I was quite nervous and didnt know what to expect. But everyone answered any questions I had, and helped anytime I needed it. One the guilds Brandon and his wife Hailey really helped; showed us where we should go for what, were really easy to talk to and had some awesome stories. Hailey was a great huntress to look up too, really made me feel comfortable! It was such a blast at Hunters Creek Ranch, it has made some great memories. We're already booking another hunt. You had everything you needed there, the chef cooked great home style food, never disappointed. Honestly, we didnt wanna leave! Everyone was just so sweet, and I learned so much within the four days we were there. Dane and I just wanna say Thank y'all, so much! See y'all soon :)

You will not find any nicer people than Bob, Brandon, their families, and staff. Not only were the facilities great, but the fun and food far exceed the price you pay. We had such a good time we are going to go back for geese/teal and hogs later in the year!

Spent the weekend at Hunters Creek Ranch with friends and my son Lawson for opening dove season. It was his first dove hunt where he actually got to shoot and we couldn't have picked a better place to start off the season. The ranch, hunting, food and mostly the people were great and were really accommodating. We look forward to coming back.

Had a good time at your place this weekend. Bob and Doreen are great hosts. And facilities are not fancy, but more than enough for this ole country boy. Saw plenty of hogs, but despite all attempts was unable to connect. Hope to be back and try it again first part of next year.

Bob, Thanks for a great Hog Hunt this past weekend. As usual you and your staff were great. The conditions weren't the best but the end result could not have been better. I'll take quality over quantity anyday. Hunting is about making memories. This hunt will forever be one of the highlights. Thanks.

Just got home from a hog hunt with Bob and the boys, and we had a blast. I had a group of four hunters, and all of us shot our limit. Three of us shot two hogs in our stand hunt. I on the other hand shot one hog, and had the privilege of taking my second hog on a stalking hunt. I have never had any luck stalking any hunting animal, so this was a blast. So far we have participated in a dog hunt, stand hunt, and now a stalking hunt. Bob you and your crew run a fine experience. No complaints coming from me or my party. JV

Hey y'all. Just wanted to tell everyone out there that we had an AWESOME hunt at your ranch. 6 of us hunted for 3 days down there and brought home 26 hogs. That is some SERIOUS PORK! Bob and Doreen run an outstanding ranch! Every hunter saw plenty of hogs! Bob and Shanon will make sure that you get on some hogs and Doreen sure does cook up some great meals! This place is AWESOME. We have hunted other ranches...but this one is by far the best. We are booked again for next year and are probably going to have to split our group because everyone we have showed our pictures to, wants to go next year! Fantastic place. Even though I hesitate to say anything nice, as I would prefer to keep Hunter's Creek a secret, I will try to say something nice. This weekend, my oldest son Cole and I had absolutely the greatest time we have ever had. A great evening hog hunt then a morning dog and knife hunt that had my heart pumping like nothing I have ever done. Doreen and Bob are as nice of people as they could be, the food is awesome, Shannon is a great guy who took the time to explain to Cole how to properly skin a hog, excellent accomodations, made it all perfect. Cole said, "this is the best Christmas ever!!". Two days before Christmas even. Thanks for a great time. Can't wait to bring my youngest son and my wife very very soon.

Came to hunt deer and some hogs and now I am hooked on hogs.. Got me 2 great hogs, thanks to 3 awsone dogs Jake, DJ and lighting, used a couple more but can't remember there names.. Bob and Shannon are great host, guides and trackers.. Spent 3 days there and never went hungry, or bored.. If your thinking or looking for a hunt I promise you book it with Hunters Creek Ranch. You won't be disappointed .. I am already planning my next trip with my daughter Thanks for all y'all did. See y'all soon

I just want say it was GREAT... First time for me and my son and we walked away winners. Best part was listening to the stories from the crew at night. They take you in like one of their family members and the whole facility is great for all kinds of hunters; experts to beginners

Just wanted to let y'all know we had a great time on the dove hunt. And to anyone reading this; as some one that has been hunting all my life, Bob and his team are top notch!!!! The food was great and the lodging was too. From doves to hogs to skeet, just know we had a blast! Thanks!!

http://www.hunterscreekranchTx.com I just enjoyed two days of hog hunting at the Hunters Creek Ranch in Mt Vernon Tx and want to recommend it to all the forum members looking for a fun hunt at an affordable rate Bob and Doreen(owners) are very nice and friendly people that will see that you have a great time and Thanks to Doreen you sure wont get hungry Also special Thanks to Simon ,Ranch manager for your efforts and friendlyness I managed to get two nice eater pigs in 20 minutes with my knife thanks to Bobs effort and his dogs While hunting from blinds in the evening I did see lots of hogs but was unable to get a good shot only because the sneaky pigs want to wait till its to dark for a fella to see thru a scope before they come to the feeders Next time I will be prepared with night vision:) Again a big Thanks to the folks at Hunters Creek Ranch and I do highly recommend them for a good hog hunt Fishinfred

I have been hunting my whole life and found these guys while looking for a doe hunt. I have hunted twice here and it is an excellent place to hunt. Bob and Simon are first class and did a great job for my daughter and I on our hunts. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
